Fragrance and Skincare

Quite often I get asked why we don't add any fragrance to Mens Skins products. A fair question really as some fragrances in skincare have a gorgeous smell to them. I know because I used to use them.

Okay so when we wash we want to smell good. Yes of course we do.

Why fragrance can be a problem

Sometimes with environmental pollutants all around us our skin becomes very sensitised. When fragrance is added to skincare products it sometimes makes skin more sensitised. When this happens our face may become blotchy or dry, and in extreme cases it can weep and get spotty.

Not everyone is sensitive to fragrances in their skin products. However more and more of us are becoming sensitive to fragrance being added and it reacting to the skin.

Our choice

We have made the choice to not add any fragrance to any of our products so we can be inclusive for all skin types — even those who can't use a fragranced product. That's why we started our journey. Our Way.
